I caught an early dinner last night at Craft & Commerce, the newest Little Italy gastropub brought to you by the same folks behind Neighborhood Ale House and El Dorado. Such a flavorful roller coaster. The place gets crowded fast, so get there during the earlier hours to avoid the crowds.

Last night, Subtext in Little Italy played venue for LOOK: The Work of Grant Brittain & Josh Higgins. It was a full house — with both the gallery space and patio filled with art-hungry guests and industry folk alike. The snacks (mustard sausages!) provided by the Tractor Room served as a tasty distraction from the unusually chilly summer night. Things also got warmer as Adrian Demain laid down his skills as the nights tunesmith. And this is what I saw…
The show goes on July 30th – August 29th, 2010. Be sure to swing by and check out the show before its over. Prints are available for sale while they last.

I was able to attend the MCASD’s Viva la Revolución preview night the other day. I had to do my best to sneak some photos, but here are some that came out sans the blur. Be sure to check out the show. Better yet… get a museum membership and support the arts!
Banksy.
Shepard Fairey was there DJing in between greeting his fans. Cool dude. Below, Otávio Pandolfo, half of Os Gemeos was also present at the members night.
Here are some photos that I took of the Os Gemeos piece on G Street (Between 2nd & 3rd). The piece coincides with the MCASD’s Viva la Revolución: A Dialogue with the Urban Landscape, which opens this Sunday.
