Introducing the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0, a futuristic shoe featuring auto self-lacing technology (E.A.R.L - Electric Adaptable Reaction Lacing) designed for personal comfort. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, Hatfield creates the first fully-functional athletic shoe incorporating an electronically self-lacing system. A motorized battery molded in the midsole powers the laces to adjust to a desirable fit. The battery illuminates inside the midsole which gives it the futuristic aesthetic.
