With all the fanfare and celebrity hype for the upcoming Off-White™ x Nike Air Jordan I collaboration we thought it was only right to do a spread on the silhouette that started it all. Arguably the most iconic silhouette for Michael Jordan and the shoe which jumpstarted the Jordan franchise, the AJ1 still generates serious buzz whenever the original colors hit the marketplace. Over the years the shoe has experienced multiple updates(with various retros since its original release in '85) but has essentially remained true to the aesthetic qualities that originally made it a classic. Here's a look at the original 1985 Air Jordan I aged 32 years.
