New Balance continues to dig into its archive for the iconic 990 series. The sneaker takes a more rounded shape than the earlier 990s. It has a grey mesh and suede upper with 3M reflective accents. The 'N' logo is still seen on the medial and lateral sides with 990 branding on the lateral heel and tongue. The chunkier midsole features Fuelcell cushioning with a black and grey rubber outsole.
