The XC-72 is one of New Balance's newest and most ambitious silhouettes to date. Teetering the balance between retro and futuristic, the XC-72 takes inspiration from multiple models of the New Balance catalogue such as the XC15/20, 325, and 620. The outsole is a dual hard traction design with the XC15's angular pattern and the 375's rounded stud pattern while being split down the middle by the 620's short herringbone sole. The upper is comprised of a technical mesh thats been overlaid by multicolor suede swatches adding to the sneakers overall unique aesthetic.
